RIGS gift memberships help new and experienced genealogists advance in the exciting journey of exploring their past and discovering their unique family stories using the resources of the Rhode Island Genealogical Society.
Our gift memberships include full access to our website (rigensoc.org), subscriptions to the RI Roots journal, Gleanings, the RIGS Reporter newsletter, (sent via email) and member discounts for purchases in our online store.
Note that gift memberships are available only to new members and may not be used to renew an existing membership. Gift memberships are priced at a discount but they renew at the regular annual membership price.
RIGS offers two levels of gift memberships:
- Standard Digital: $20. The new member will view or receive RIGS publications in digital format, which will be viewed or downloaded from the RIGS website.
- Standard: $30. The new member will receive a printed, mailed copy of RI Roots and Gleanings publications. (Access to digital copies are also included in a Standard Membership.)
