We are delighted to invite you to celebrate Come Home to Rhode Island, the 50th Anniversary of the Rhode Island Genealogical Society, marked by our special Anniversary Dinner and Conference at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick, RI on June 13-14, 2025.
Founded in 1975 and led by the late visionary genealogist, Alden C. Saunders, RIGS has grown from its original 51 charter members to a vibrant community of over 600 diverse individuals dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich tapestry of Rhode Island’s family histories.
