Paul Campbell, 1948-2020
RIGS notes the passing of our long-time friend, Paul Campbell.

RIGS 2020 Annual Meeting
Due to the restrictions put into place by the state of Rhode Island dealing with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the in person RIGS Annual Meeting, normally held in May and then postponed until September 27, 2020 will not be held in person. There are discussions going on to hold a virtual meeting in its place. Watch for more details.

Gleanings, Barrington Town Records published
RIGS is pleased to announce a new volume in the Gleanings series, Gleanings from Rhode Island Town Records: Barrington, Massachusetts, Town Meetings, 1718-1744 by Cynthia Comery Ferguson. It is the 2020 Special Bonus Issue of Rhode Island Roots.

2021 NERGC Conference
Mark Your Calendars! New England Regional Genealogical Consortium (NERGC)'s 2021 conference will be a virtual conference. Live sessions and recorded sessions will be available April 15, through May 15, 2021. Details at nergc.org and enroll for the e-zine to follow conference plans.
